EA Sports clarified the attitude of Madden NFL 18 regarding the graphic characteristics of PlayStation 4 Pro. In a statement to GameSpot, EA Sports confirmed that the game does not require a 4K and 1080p update on the PS4 Pro.
Madden will work in NFL 18 at a frame rate of 60 fps. However, PlayStation or Xbox consoles does not have an explanation for high definition support.
In the words of EA:
“Madden NFL 18 was compatible with the PS4 Pro while it was on the market at 4K and 1080. If a player decides to run Madden NFL 18 in 4K, he will see a better resolution, and if he chooses to run the game at 1080p, he will have a speed of improved frames in certain areas. The core will play at 60 fps regardless of the game. There is no need to support HDR at this time, “he said.
This statement came in response to a report Madden NFL 18 said it would need an update to support 4K and HDR. The statement says nothing about the graphical features of Xbox One S or Xbox One X.
And you play Madden NFL 18 in 4K? We believe that it is not really necessary to play on a high quality TV, since even in the old black and white televisions you can play with the appropriate adapters. And all game and MUT 18 coins and Madden 18 players work good already. However, if we want to get the best quality of a game, the best thing we can do is acquire a television that offers us 4K to enjoy Madden NFL 18 in all its splendor.
